The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychological Medicine specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and support of psychological development during childhood and development-associated problems. Few hospitals have such a department in Japan. The most advanced, optimal medical care is provided for children who have difficulties related to developmental impairment or imbalance and their families, in cooperation with the Department of Pediatrics, Department of Neuropsychiatry, and our staff, which administers community medicine-, education-, and welfare-associated care.
